Travis Menge, MD

For MSU Board of Trustees

My time at Michigan State University was transformative. Not only did I meet my wife Stephanie while attending school there, it is where I started my education that ultimately led me to becoming a physician.

If it weren’t for the opportunities I was afforded at MSU, my life could have turned out very differently. I am passionate about ensuring that future generations have those same opportunities available to them and that Michigan State remains a top institution globally.

My healthcare leadership experience makes me uniquely qualified to successfully guide MSU through unexpected challenges, such as the COVID pandemic and the Larry Nassar Scandal. Additionally, I want to make high quality education affordable and accessible for all Michigan students.

I would greatly appreciate your vote for the MSU Board of Trustees this November. With your support, I am dedicated to helping shape a bright and successful future for the University for many years to come!

My priorities for Michigan State University are clear:

  • Protect free speech on campus
  • Bring common sense healthcare leadership
  • Reduce tuition costs and improve educational value
  • Make high quality education accessible for all Michigan students
  • Improve transparency and accountability
  • Continue to grow MSU’s presence as a global leader in education, science, research, and technology
  • Ensure opportunities are available for Michigan students from every background to earn both merit-based and needs-based scholarships

I was the first candidate to enter the race for MSU Trustee over a year ago. During this time, I have been traveling across Michigan to meet with voters. I am excited to get out and talk to people and hear about their priorities.

From West Michigan to Northern Michigan to Southeast and everywhere in between, I am committed to traversing the state to earn your vote.

I am passionate about Michigan State as an institution and the opportunities made available to me during my time there. As a young kid from Colorado, I had no idea how much I would fall in love with this state. Now, as a Michigander, I am looking for ways to give back to the university that gave so much to me.

Please fill out my Contact form if you have an upcoming event or something you want to discuss with me. I look forward to hearing from you.

My first priority as a candidate is meeting voters and hearing what is important to them. I have this contact form as a tool for you to connect with me directly. If you have an event I can attend, you want to help on the campaign, or you just need to talk, let me know.

Campaigns are a lot of work and I am committed, but I can’t do it alone. Let us know if you can help the team with your time, are willing to take a sign, or volunteer in some other capacity.

    Don’t Forget to Vote!

I need your support on November 8th, 2022 to win this election for the students, parents, and taxpayers of Michigan!
